This album was recorded after I'd been working with this trio for about a year in Atlanta. Sam Philips (aka Levi) on fretless bass and Luis Stefanal (Curtis Mayfield) on percussion. It was an honor to work with these guys and I'm really glad we got this documented. It has a much more Latin feel than most of my other work primarily due to Luis's influence. I played all the instruments on a few cuts due to time and money constraints.
