Boxes Are For Burning

boxes are for burning
oklahoma city november 1998

I would travel far to see a beautiful woman's smilebut a kissthat's the spark that inflames me to saddle the horse,  to put up provisions, to lean into a north wind and journey toward a dim moon.  in the spiritual habitat god created kissesso that the children of god would be active and peaceful with one another.  love does not live in a box  one size for all and well kept in the corner of a tent. no, boxes are best designed for the storage of fears.  once full the box can be easily burned up.  then new boxes can be obtained.  fine boxes.  but love  best fits in a bag  slung over your shoulder and held close to the chest with an arm resting over the top.  this way the hand can reach in anytime and draw out nourishment and ecstasy, even while riding.  fill your life with kisses and bags.  boxes are for burning.
